On October 4, 2021, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Italy, the international conference "Modernization and globalization along the Silk Road: jurists, models and new legal itineraries between Italy and China" was held in Rome. The event was co-organized by the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei, the Roma TRE University, the China University of Political Science and Law, the 'La Sapienza' University of Rome and the University of Bologna. The Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Italy Li Junhua, the President of the Chinese Supreme Court Zhou Qiang and the Ambassador of Italy to China Luca Ferrari attended by videoconference.
