The training webinar aimed at associations with a migratory background was held on November 8, 2021, organized by AID Italia - Agency for Inclusion and Rights, and KARIBU Coop. winner of the POLI project within the IMPACT LAZIO regional project for the enhancement of foreign associations in the Lazio Region in Italy.
They attended the webinar as speakers Dr. Kwanza Musi Dos Santos, Avv. Lifang Dong and Prof. Ahmad Ejaz.
Avv. Lifang Dong shared her experience in the field of associations, presenting the objectives and activities of the Silk Council Association, which she chairs. She then provided the audience with some tips for starting and managing an association including:
1. Believe in your mission
2. Identify your strengths
3. Find the right synergies with other entities and associations
4. Diversify your activities
5. Be persistent, patient and flexible
6. Follow the geopolitical and economic news and stay up to date in the sectors of your interest
