Avv. Lifang Dong, President of Silk Council, modeled in the new Stella Jean's social awareness campaign “Italians in becoming” as the first Italian lawyer of Chinese origin. In the social project of the Italian designer of Creole origin, Stella Jean, the new multicultural Italy is emphasized, through fashion. Stella Jean envisions that her fall 2020 look book, featuring italians who have been subjected to racial prejudice, will bring more awareness to multiculturalism and racism. This campaign is supported by vogue usa, the national anti-discrimination office of the Italian government. Silk Council also supports this campaign as it falls in line with our message of inclusiveness; as we promote multilateral and open cooperations between people, institutions and countries in hopes of fostering the creation of international synergies at a multidisciplinary level.
